Peer support is help from someone who has experienced the same or similar problems as you. Help includes mentoring, listening or facilitating conversations. Our peer support specialists are certified and work with those who struggle with mental health, psychological trauma or substance use.
Research indicates working with a peer support specialist leads to positive outcomes such as staying in treatment longer, having stable housing and living a better quality of life.
